I look forward to visiting my in-laws on the weekends because I know we will end up eating here. The charro beans are the main reason I crave this place all week long..... best charros EVER.
Flautas, enchiladas, fajitas.. love it all.
Also, pretty good margaritas! -

Sad but true, they have gone downhill. Gave them another shot but that will be the last time. Not sure why you would have a business and not deliver the best product you can each day. They used to do this, especially when they were in their small wooden house down the street.

This is our families Sunday tradition brunch spot. Every time we go in there, were greeted like we're family haha. The main guy knows our orders by memory. The food reminds me of my grandma's cooking back in Mexico. This is NOT Tex-Mex food & I will just leave that at that. This is hidden gem of Katy.

Not sure what happened but their food quality went way down. First off, the chips are kept in a Home Depot bucket and are microwaved so they are obviously not fresh. The crispy tacos used to be so good but now they taste really burnt, bland and are giving me stomach issues. The food came out in literally 7 minutes which is way to fast. Probably microwaved the meat and shell. It is sad because this place used to be soo good. But my stomach is not a fan of this place anymore. Now I have the runs.

Food was amazing and very authentic! My husband ordered the Chimichanga lunch plate and I ordered the fajita lunch plate. The fajita meat was extremely tender and full of flavor. You get a ton of food for the price and I feel the quality was great!
They loose the one star for a couple of reasons. They were cleaning out old food from the refrigerator in the dining area, their little girl was so cute but playing and touching all of the clean silverware laying it on the table , and they were mopping when we walked in so instead of smelling food we smelt cleaner (a huge pet peeve of mine). And the salsa had way too much lime in it
The owner (I assume) and his daughter helped us and were very kind and had good customer service.
